Desire The Series is an upcoming Chinese BL drama premiering July 12 on the Youku app, starring Eliot Huang, Kipuka Qiu, Seeky Li, and Ocean Jiang. What sets it apart is its setting in the ABO universe—a fictional social and biological hierarchy where characters are classified as Alphas, Betas, or Omegas. Originally rooted in fanfiction, ABO has become a staple in East Asian BL dramas, adding layers of tension, identity, and romance.

The story follows Yong Hua (Eliot Huang), a rare “Enigma” type who disguises himself as an Omega to attract the powerful Alpha Sawyer Sheng (Kipuka Qiu). Things take a shocking turn when Yong Hua accidentally impregnates Sawyer—despite Sawyer’s contempt for Omegas. Now, Yong Hua must hide both his true identity and the pregnancy while navigating intense emotional and social stakes.

Meanwhile, a second couple emerges: Tu Gao (Seeky Li), a Beta also posing as an Omega, and Wenlang Shen (Ocean Jiang), another Alpha. Their secret-filled relationship adds to the tangled web of deception and desire.
