Set against a backdrop of political tension and behind-the-scenes machinations, Mandate—also known as Kom Duen: A Political Game of the Heart—is shaping up to be one of the most uniquely themed BL dramas to date. Tackling weighty themes, the series promises an intriguing exploration of how its characters navigate clashing social standings and the quiet, unyielding expectations placed upon them.

A collaboration between MONO Original and ASA Studio, Mandate marks the BL debut of veteran Thai actor Boy Pakorn, paired with Ben Bunyapol, the breakout star from Step By Step. Directed by Prin Kreeratiratanalak and written by Polpat Asavaprapha and Pongnarin Ulice, the series will premiere on September 12 via the MonoMax app. International release plans possibly are still under wraps—but anticipation is already sky-high.
