Papa and Daddy's Home Cooking" (original title: Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan) is an exciting upcoming live-action Japanese BL from TV Asahi, starring So Matsushima (plays the role of Sengoku Tetsu) and Jin Shirasu (plays the role of Harumi Masahiro). The drama is based on thirteen volumes manga by Yuu Toyota, directed by Takuma Satō and Naomi Kinoshita, with scripts by Ureha Shimada and Tatsuya Yamanishi. Sengoku is a Judo therapist and chiropractor who was suddenly tasked with the challenging job of raising his own daughter Airi (played by Tahanashi Nono) after his Ex wife suddenly leaves him while Harumi is a Manga editor who has his own challenges as well: instant dad from his divorce. Both men’s lives are suddenly intertwined, they found themselves raising their kids while sharing one place together. Interesting plot right? This remind us of the Taiwanese BL Papa and Daddy don’t you think? Papa and Daddy’s Home Cooking is set to premiere on TV Asahi on October 4.
